Fall 24' Season Details

• Opening day: Saturday, September 7th
  • This day will be used to distribute uniforms and host small sided games
• Games/League begins:​​​​​​ Sunday, September 8th  
• $250 Early-bird registration ends August 1st, 2024, saving you $50. Early registration helps ensure all players have their MLS kits (uniforms) in time for games. 
• Registration fee includes:
  • MLS-branded uniforms
  • 10 Games (every Sunday)
  • 10 Trainings
  • Fields and Equipment
  • Volunteer Coaches utilizing the MLS GO curriculum 
• Conveniently, practices/trainings are held before games, reinforcing skills and techniques prior to kick-off. This schedule compresses the time commitment from families to one day per week.

What is MLS GO? 

MLS GO is Major League Soccer’s recreational youth soccer program, with the mission of creating an inclusive and elevated experience for all participants.

Whether destined for the professional ranks or looking to get their first experience in the sport, MLS GO is the first step in the pathway where we invite all to learn fundamental soccer skills and develop a lasting love of the game.

By offering local communities a structured introductory soccer program with connections to a developmental pathway, we’re enabling greater access to the sport — seeking to remove any barriers to participating in the game we love.

Who can join? Where are games played? 

MLS GO welcomes youth soccer players ages 3-12 to embark on their soccer journey with us.

MLS GO games take place at fields in Redwood City, San Mateo, and San Leandro, providing convenient access for families across the SF Bay Area. Families can register for either of the locations based on which is most convenient for them. 

What time will trainings and games be held? 

Training/Game time slots will depend on your players age. Exact times will be shared shortly after the early bird deadline. 

Is financial aid offered? 
Yes, you can apply for the MLS GO PLAY FUND which offers financial assistance for MLS GO participants nationwide. A parent or legal guardian of the participant must complete the application to be considered for the 2024 MLS GO PLAY FUND grant cycle. You can view and submit the application HERE.
