Spring 25' Season Details

• Games/League begins: Sunday, April 27th
• $60 Early-bird registration ends April 1, 2025. $80 after.  Early registration helps ensure all players have their MLS kits (uniforms) in time for games. 
• Registration fee includes:
  • Full MLS-branded uniforms (Jersey, Shorts, Socks)
  • 7 Games (every Sunday afternoon)
  • 7 Trainings
  • Cal North Registration
  • Fields and Equipment
  • Volunteer Coaches utilizing the MLS GO curriculum 

 

Sunday Afternoons: 7-Week Schedule

Dates:

• April 27, 2025
• May 4, 2025
• May 11, 2025
• May 18, 2025
• May 25, 2025
• June 1, 2025
• June 8, 2025

Format:

• Each session lasts 90 minutes, with:

• 45 minutes of practice to develop soccer skills.
• 45 minutes of games (3v3 or 4v4 based on age group).
• Season begins: Sunday, April 27th
• Season ends: Sunday, June 8th

What is MLS GO? 

MLS GO is Major League Soccer’s recreational youth soccer program, with the mission of creating an inclusive and elevated experience for all participants.

Whether destined for the professional ranks or looking to get their first experience in the sport, MLS GO is the first step in the pathway where we invite all to learn fundamental soccer skills and develop a lasting love of the game.

By offering local communities a structured introductory soccer program with connections to a developmental pathway, we’re enabling greater access to the sport — seeking to remove any barriers to participating in the game we love.

What time will trainings and games be held? 

Trainings and games will take place on Sunday afternoons. Exact times will be shared shortly after the early bird deadline. 

Who can join? Where are games played? 

MLS GO welcomes youth soccer players ages 4-10 to embark on their soccer journey with us.

MLS GO games take place at turf fields in San Mateo providing convenient access for families across the SF Bay Area. Families can register for either of the locations based on which is most convenient for them. 

Can we get a preview of the kits? 

Is financial aid offered? 
Yes, you can apply for the MLS GO PLAY FUND which offers financial assistance for MLS GO participants nationwide. A parent or legal guardian of the participant must complete the application to be considered for the 2024 MLS GO PLAY FUND grant cycle. You can view and submit the application HERE.
